Antique English Biscuit Barrel

Antique English ceramic biscuit barrel with original silver-plated lid and side handle, decorated with hand-painted floral sprays of roses and blossoms on a cream ground with subtle moulded panelling. Marked "Made in England" to the lid mount. A pleasing and functional piece, typical of late Victorian or Edwardian domestic ware.
